The rosary, and its accompanying twenty mysteries, document the life of Christ and our Blessed Mother, Mary. When we pray the rosary, we are meditating and following the life of Christ. Our Blessed Mother always seeks to draw us closer to her son Jesus and the rosary is one of her ways. Praying the rosary is a source of tremendous grace for all.
Recitation of the Rosary and the Divine Mercy Chaplet are done every Tuesday at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of the Church.
2023
The Lansing Diocesan Eucharistic Rosary Congress is a diocesan-wide effort to join together, not only in our own diocese, but with other dioceses across our nation, to ask Our Lady’s intercession before Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, and to offer reparation to God through Our Lady for our families, our Church, and our country! St. Michael will kick off this year’s congress on Sunday, October 8 following the 11:00am Mass and continue for a full 24 hours, ending with benediction on Monday, October 9 at noon.
Our hope is that every parishioner will take one hour to pray as a parish. Families praying together is encouraged. One person will lead the rosary and divine mercy chaplet at the start of each hour. Not familiar with these devotions? No worries. Parish captains will be available with rosaries and instructions - or you can just show up in solidarity with your brothers and sisters in Christ!
Time slots to consider:
Sunday October 8: Any hour between Noon and Midnight
Monday October 9: Midnight through Noon
